The Polybius Protocol (Fiction Podcast — Fiction Podcast Series / Horror–Sci-Fi

In present-day Portland, a substitute teacher discovers that a missing student’s disappearance is tied to a decades-old CIA experiment hidden inside an arcade cabinet. As she digs into her past, she learns she may not just be chasing the program, she is its original test subject.

Based on the urban legend of the 1981 Polybius arcade machine.

The Yellow King (Hour-Long Television Pilot / Prestige Horror–Thriller)

A radical death cult seeks to open a passage to Carcosa, the domain of a cosmic entity worshipped as the Yellow King. The only person who knows how to reach it is Ben Callahan, a dementia-stricken Vietnam veteran who once survived a covert mission to the city and never fully returned.
When the FBI recruits a novice psychologist to draw the truth out of him, each therapy session begins to warp reality, revealing that the path to Carcosa may not be a place, but an alternate reality that that may consume the world.

BIO

Danny “D.T.” Yang is a screenwriter working in elevated genre, blending grounded sci-fi, prestige horror, and absurdist comedy through the lens of outsiders in surreal circumstances. In 2025 alone, five of his projects placed in major competitions including the Austin Film Festival, PAGE, and BlueCat.

He performs stand-up comedy in NYC and recently appeared on KILL TONY.
