In the deserts of the Middle East, a military contractor, more accustomed to hauling supplies than combat, hits a landmine and is thrown into a vast underground cavern as old as time. There, she and a band of displaced villagers find themselves trapped in the domain of a colossal Nephilim: a giant torn from scripture and made flesh. What they don’t yet know is that the creature is not merely a guardian, but a gatekeeper, protecting a portal the Pentagon secretly covets, a doorway that may lead to the origins of mankind…or to God itself.
At the center is Molly McDaniels, a middle-aged truck driver who fled halfway across the world to escape the grief of losing her daughter. Now she must broker an uneasy alliance between the villagers and an American Special Forces unit led by a zealot captain desperate to force the portal open, no matter the cost.
As their numbers dwindle and the Nephilim closes in, Molly must confront an unbearable question: risk unleashing what lies beyond the gate, or accept death. The choice only becomes harder when the grief she has long run from begins to look back at her from the abyss — calling her back with a familiar voice.
GOLIATH is both a relentless survival thriller and a mythic reckoning — a story about grief, faith, and whether some doors are too dangerous to open… even when the human heart begs to walk through them.
